Pfft
Urban Outfitters and their extremely over priced clothes = the grandest joke in existence. To be honest, the only reason I ever stop by that place is to look at the displays! They’re rad [although now that i think about it, they use the same display items over and over..] Random placements of wood all over the sales floor and ribbons hanging from the ceiling, GETS ME EVERY TIME. Oh but those paper bags they place your purchased items in... who doesn’t want to walk around the mall with a ripped URBZZ paper tote in hand? Its definitely classy. OKAY i lied. Scoping the recycled displays isn’t the only reason i walk into that hipster of a store. For me Urban Outfitters also = me snatching as many of their catalogues as I can fit into my purse. And yes, most of the time I’m well aware they are all the same...
But on a more serious note I absolutely love how parts of the fashion industry are becoming more personal as far as advertisements go. They’re more dream like and so very whimsical. Its as if some fashion brands are having you peer into the lives of the women that embody these clothes. And these women aren’t your conventional beauties. They’re unconventional young ladies who have imperfections and who don’t hide who they really are by applying thick amounts of make up. These ladies are honest, with sunken eyes and a story to tell.
